Publicly Reported Facts

What is reported—and what Paidwork has not confirmed.

The public database analysis is substantial, but Paidwork says it has not confirmed that its systems or user accounts were compromised. This intake preserves that distinction.

Reported timeline

  • March 2026: hackers claimed they obtained data from Paidwork and listed it for sale.
  • July 2026: an approximately 11 GB database attributed to Paidwork was posted publicly.
  • Have I Been Pwned reports 23.3 million unique email addresses in the database.
  • Paidwork told SecurityWeek on July 22, 2026 that it had no confirmed evidence its systems or user accounts were compromised and had escalated the report to its security team.

Reported information categories

Have I Been Pwned reports account profile data, bank account numbers, payout history, financial transactions, physical and email addresses, dates of birth, phone and IP addresses, and passwords stored as bcrypt hashes. Public reporting also describes education, interests, profile images, device information, and other account details. A category appearing in the database does not establish that every field was present for every user.

Paidwork's current position

Paidwork has not publicly acknowledged the alleged breach. Its statement to SecurityWeek says it is aware of the Have I Been Pwned report, has no confirmed evidence that its systems or user accounts were compromised, and is investigating. This site therefore describes a reported or alleged incident—not a company-confirmed breach.

Why account records matter

Paidwork's current Terms of Service identify Paidwork LLC and state that account disputes are subject to binding arbitration under American Arbitration Association rules. An attorney must review the terms applicable when each user created or used an account; this intake does not decide whether an arbitration agreement is valid or enforceable.

Hall Attorneys' role

Hall Attorneys, P.C. is the investigating party for this intake. Submissions route only to Hall Attorneys when the configured Paidwork matter is assigned to the firm's exact identifier. Submission is a request for review, not acceptance of a case or an offer of representation.
